Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when you visit the V2Ray Knowledge Base, read its technical documentation, or use its download links. Review the terms before proceeding. If you do not agree, stop using the relevant features. Rights that cannot be excluded or limited by law are not affected by these terms.

1. Scope and Purpose

This site compiles information about the V2Ray ecosystem, client configuration, and troubleshooting. Its content is for educational, research, and lawful technical reference only; it is not legal advice, a service-quality guarantee, or a promise that any setup will work on a particular network.

This site is an independent knowledge resource, not the official publisher of v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, or related core projects. Interfaces, settings, and features may change with software updates. Before taking action, consult the current client documentation and consider your device and the rules governing your network.

2. Lawful Use and User Responsibilities

You must comply with the laws and regulations applicable where you are located and in the context in which you use the software. You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to operate your device, change network settings, and access the resources you target. Do not use this site or related software for illegal activity, including unauthorized system access, data theft, distributing unlawful content, or disrupting another person's network.

Obtain any required authorization before using these tools on a company, school, or other managed network. You are responsible for assessing the legality of subscription sources, connection services, and configuration content. Technical steps in a guide do not authorize any particular use, and this site grants no exemption from legal obligations.

3. Open-Source Software and Third-Party Services

The relevant software is provided by its respective open-source projects, which determine its features, release schedule, and license terms. This site's documentation and download links do not alter any software license or imply that this site is an agent of, partner of, or guarantor for any project or its maintainers.

You choose any subscription, server, or network access service at your own discretion. Fees, account management, and disputes are governed by the relevant provider's terms. Download links may change as release channels are updated. A page being accessible does not guarantee that software or a connection service will be available.

4. Liability and Operational Risks

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site provides information as is. We do not guarantee that it will always be complete, accurate, up to date, or suitable for every device, or that access and downloads will remain uninterrupted. Investigate issues caused by software defects, system updates, network conditions, or configuration differences using the relevant logs.

Before changing routing, DNS, system proxy, or TUN settings, save any necessary configuration and make sure you know how to restore it. To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for connection interruptions, data loss, device issues, or other losses resulting from the use of its information or third-party software. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subscription URLs, account details, and runtime logs may contain sensitive information; keep them secure. Before sharing troubleshooting materials, remove information that could identify someone or grant access to an account or service.

5. Intellectual Property and Attribution

Rights to each client, core component, and related names, marks, and code belong to their respective owners. Use, modification, and redistribution of software are governed by the open-source license included with the relevant version. This site's documentation does not replace the license or grant trademark or other rights.

Articles and page content written by this site are protected by law. When quoting content fairly, credit the source and preserve its context. Do not remove rights notices, misrepresent technical conclusions, or claim authorship. Third-party content is also subject to its own license terms.

6. Changes to These Terms and Feedback

We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the site's content or features, or to meet legal requirements. Revisions will be posted on this page, and the month shown at the top will be updated. Any additional notice required by law will be provided. In general, revised terms apply to use after publication and will not retroactively diminish rights protected by law.

For configuration questions, start with the FAQ and user guide, and use their troubleshooting steps to document the issue. See the disclaimer for other liability terms. For questions about third-party software licensing, refer to the relevant project's license.
